VoiceOver is Cantus Youth Choirs’ premier contemporary a cappella ensemble. With 9 women and 9 men, VoiceOver pushes the boundaries of typical a cappella ensembles, giving you powerful bass, full mid-tones and punchy treble. VoiceOver combines vocals, vocal percussion and movement to deliver inspiring and high-impact performances.

VoiceOver is an auditioned ensemble. Singers in VoiceOver also participate in Concordia. Auditions for this ensemble are held in April and May for the following season. There is a $60 additional fee to participate in this ensemble. VoiceOver focuses on development of advanced ear training, harmonic, rhythmic, contemporary vocal technique, and performing skills through advanced, popular a cappella music. This music is typically sung with beatboxing and choreography. VoiceOver is co-directed by Keith McCauley and Annie Roberts on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and 8:15 to 9:30pm.
