Annie Roberts

Associate Director of VoiceOver

Annie Roberts it excited to be back with Cantus Youth Choirs where she served the first three seasons on the board of directors and helped launch VoiceOver with Keith McCauley.

Mrs. Roberts graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and an English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement. She taught school in the Provo, Utah School District.

Mrs. Roberts has been very involved in music throughout her life. She began singing and playing the piano as a young girl and developed a love for musical theatre when she was cast in the roles of Annie in Annie, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and Brigetta in The Sound of Music. Other musicals include, It’s My Life, The King and I and Fiddler on the Roof. In college she was cast as Fastrada in Pippin and sang in an eight-person a cappella group at BYU where she was named Best Female Vocalist at a regional a cappella competition.

Mrs. Roberts has taught private voice and piano lessons and directed several youth and adult church choirs and programs. She is currently studying vocal technique with Allison Linton. Her other interests include: spending time with her husband and two sons, writing music, playing tennis, and watching college football.
