It just keeps getting better! Tonight we met at the Tonic Room Studios in Boise with our string players: Nanette Jensen (Cantus parent and pianist at the last several years of concerts), Brookann Hessing (Cantus parent), and Eli King. Nanette and Brookann played violin and Eli played cello.
We got all warmed up and played through it a couple of times and then started recording! These three string players put down several tracks that we layered to create a fuller and more symphonic sound.
I’m not going to lie … when Erika and I played the full instrumental track on our system at home, a few tears MIGHT have been shed.
